I dug the rich production on this, he's a curious guy with his approaches, there's a lot going on but it never got messy. I like his voice, there's some great singalong tunes and some touching reflective moments. There's a certain Jeff Lynne vibe in the sound at times, particularly in the some vocal treatments.

He does tend to really repeat certain musical phrases, sometimes that is the real strength of the piece which really drives it home, sometimes it doesnt and these end up feeling like very long songs. Overall I was really impressed and enjoyed this.

Messy, confused, disjointed, confusing - just too lacking in structure for too much of the album for me. Some interesting ideas with all the keys/pads/effects but it needs some glue to hold it all together, and his vocals don't do that. The casio style rhythms and farty bass noises grate very quickly and don't let up.
