A classy album that moves up and down the gears smoothly, between downbeat ambience and dancey pop inna electro folk ragga stylée. The more dropped back beats of songs like Shining Path are worthy of Leftfield at their best. A great use of spoken samples throughout underline the good humour and lightness of touch on show. There's a rich mix of 'world' influences, without it becoming messy or losing its discernable Englishness. And it's got that great overall shape as a proper album rather than just a collection of songs. Really rather good I’d say.

I'll always think of Sam Alardyce when I hear this

Yeah I liked this! Did you know, Little Britain was the soundtrack for the long running TV show, Football League Extra on ITV. Interesting music, would like to hear something gutsier from them.
